Master Zhou has gained national prestige as being the best traditional swordsmith for the nation of China. His forge is located in the famous Long Quan City in Zhejiang province in China.
1968 Zhou, Zheng Wu was born in LongQuan City, China famous for its sword forging for over 2,500 years. Master Zhou is the curator of the LongQuan Zheng Wu Sword Forging Institute and the LongQuan Sword Museum.
1988 Under direct instruction from his father Zhou, Zheng Wu started studying the art of sword forging. He has forged swords for Wu Lan Fu, the former Chinese Vice Chairman, and Xi Zhongxun, the Deputy Prime minister.
2001 Master Zhou, Zheng Wu was awarded the professional title of Arts & Crafts Master for Zhejiang Province by the Zhejiang Government.
2002 Master Zhou, Zheng Wu founded the Zheng Wu sword forging institute, where he regularly lectures.
2003 Awarded the Silver Prize by the Chinese Arts Association.
2004 He founded the LongQuan Sword Museum. Awarded the Arts and Crafts Fine Work Prize and Excellence Prize for the Zhejiang Pro 2005.
2005/2006 Masters of Fire Exhibition, Master Zhou was crowned winner of the Masters of Fire Contemporary Bladesmiths Exhibition. Master Bladesmiths from all over the world entered the exhibition. Master Zhou won for his historic replica of Emperor Wu's Han dynasty Jian.
