The Bushi series from the Zhou Zheng Wu knife & sword company represents excellent quality for a semi-custom sword. We offer a hand made Kobuse 1070 forge folded outer and 1050 inner core laminated blade in shinogi-zukuri style. The blade has been clayed tempered and water quenched to produce a true hamon. The cutting edge is tempered to a 56 HRC while leaving the spine a 42 HRC. The blade has a hand polish finish to show the (hada) grain pattern. The handle has real same' with Japanese silk ito and double mekugi pins for added security. The saya is finished in a gloss black with a buffalo horn koiguchi (mouth). The fittings are of antiqued bronze with your choice of a Japanese iron tsuba, Japanese menuki, and premium Japanese silk ito and sageo color.
